Good God Woman! "How not to eat a corndog in the media"

First off let me state that I'm not a supporter nor am I a hater of  Michele Bachmann I do line up with some of the Tea Party plains, not all. Michele Bachmann need to try to stay away form cameras because it seems each and every time this stuff happens.

This is not a good look for a future President, or any women let me to be clear. I pulled this from an "Yahoo Autos"  news feed that came to my FaceBook page about how she could get us back to two dollar gas. Okay good luck with that Michele. That's kind of like President Obama saying I'll give you 5% unemployment.
So don't get me wrong, hey Michele watch the cameras for god sake! Leave the crazy pictures to the babies and silly people.

Good Morning!

Well with my Barclay premier league out of the way, fun was had by all who where there. Manchester United off to the next host city as they make their way across the USA. With 60,000 people at Soldier Field. A nice place to go when the Chicago Bears aren't playing there. 
The last time I was there it was a little different for one it was about a hundred degrees colder on the December day that myself and daughter Elisabeth went to see the Green Bay Packers play the Chicago Bears. See that day was a lot different in many ways.
For one it was -20 degrees with a wind chill around -45. It was so cold that our beers would freeze in rings in our glasses as we drunk them down. The hot dog's were the best things that day, and Elisabeth and myself both said "A hog dog never tasted so good!"
Plus one small detail is that I a Green Bay Packers fan and most Bears fans don't care for Packer fans all that much.
I enjoyed my Manchester United experience and my Chicago Fire experience as well. I've watched the World Cup for years and have enjoyed it very much. I've been buying the FIFA games for my PSP for a few years now and enjoy them very much.
I do have to say I may have to start watching a few more MLS soccer games from here on out!

holy Crap, did it Rain!

Did we get nailed last night!
Rain came thru here with a meanness that was incredible. Close to 7" inches of rain in two hour over night. Made a mess out of roads all over the Chicagoland  area. Flooding flooding and more flooding. 
It needs to clear out for the futbol game this after noon. At Soldierfield ManU vs Chicago Fire Soccer Club, should be fun!

Manchester United!

The British are coming, the British are coming! No I'm not doing my best Paul Revere and I'm not even going to make any referent to Paul Revere and Raiders " Indian Reservation " A great song I might add. See this is how I go from one to another a back again. Must stay focused on the job at hand.
Tomorrow the greatest team in all of sports is coming to the great city of Chicago, Illinois. Yep Manchester United, this is like seeing the "Canadiens de Montreal" The Green Bay Packers New York Yankees all rolled into one team.
Can wait to see this is going to be big!
So tomorrow @ 4:00 Chicago time the The Red Devils face off with the Fire of Chicago should be a grand time had by all. I'm so looking forward to this game.

Yep "Happy Father's Day!" Ever truly think about that? I do and it's funny in some ways, a strange thing happens to you when that happens. Standing there watching your child coming out of the person you care for (wife, girlfriend, or what ever other word for it!) and your a father! A father no insight, hell I was a young guy in my twenty's. I had know ideal what I was doing, none! I poked and prodded my way thru. Mistake, Hell'ya a lot.... regrets no way!
 I've got two good kids, they work hard ! They seem to be good people and my guess if you did that, than you must be a good dad. I didn't instill any great wisdom. I watched on T.V. yesterday these people putting fourth how my dad gave me these wise word. I don't think I did that, or maybe I did, just not sure. You go to work and work hard, and do your best each and every day. That's funny because that's not what happens. Anyone who works for a living will tell you, or will they I bet not. We don't see our selves in that light, or don't want to! Not sure you can be wired that way.       
It's the rose colored glass we all look thru, some of us have the grass is greener look to. All in all its the same! It's the base of all, we can't help it! 
To sit somewhere and see others going about there day to day lives, and you think they have done very good for themselves.
 Have they?
 Looks can make you think about that can't they?

Spring Break, has made it slow here at work. So this afternoon organizing a wet-T-shirt contest. Now where's my beer bong!

Asked by a Co-worker?

I was asked yesterday by a co-worker why I haven't posted anything as of late. I said it's harder than you think it would be, and left it at that. Well that was a half truth, the whole truth is with so much stuff in the world happening all at once. It's hard to focus on one item.
So here I go!
I feel for to people of Japan so much, but the U.S. press they are a joke. Almost pissed off that the Japanese didn't act like the animals down in New Orleans. No pictures of Japanese young men running around the streets with flat panel T.V.'s in a Wal-mart buggy.
I'm going to stop, this cause all this does is upset me.
The on going crap of my dearly love state of Wisconsin, and the jack-asses in Madison. This is another item that just make me so very mad.
Once again who stands there making this whole story clouded the U.S. press!
So starting today I'm going to start going off on these so called media jack-asses, ABC,CBS,NBC mostly well maybe not CBS because no one watches CBS for there news, the other two I'll be calling them out.

Wow, it's been sometime sense I've checked in. Not much going on to talk about.Talking politics I get bored of that quickly, and besides I don't want to end up on the nightly news. With one of my rants starting some kind of debate on the news shows on Sunday. So I've been low-key these last few days.
Plus I also think work through a little writers block. Not been writing much in my journal either, I mean its not like I write a ton so maybe small block, instead of lager block.
Cars could write about cars I love the automobile, I've had a long love affair with cars out the years. This is the 1978 BMW 320i.

What up today as we move thru the endless days into months than years. Flying thru time and space. Here we are at mid-January and very little to show. Maybe a step or to back, if you even think about it.
This week was an eye opener to say, how people rushed to judgement in the Arizona shooting. Then the talk turned to how we need to get along. Stop all of the banter! It made no senses to what happened to what the media was saying about what had happened.
This man, was not a Tea Party person. Didn't listen to Rush, and didn't go to Sarah Palin's websites or be her FaceBook friend they had no reason at all to enter into this, until the facts came in.
They did, they jumped on this big time. They need to cut out, just yesterday (1/13/2011)  in the San Francisco Chronicle  a Dan Rader writes "Palin, Crosshairs, and Semiotics: The Signs of the Times"

up beat, not beat up!

Man this year so far has been a downer, we need some positive and up beat news. All this come at a time of year where most of us can't get out, and enjoy a little sunshine. We live the mushroom life go to work in the dark get home in the dark. I myself work in a building with no widows to boot. So with all of the negativity flowing in this early part of the year, its hard to not go into the dumps.
This time of the year with the holiday over, and spring is no where in to be found. I say this is a tough time of the year. So I feel we may need to pool our positive energy. This is my five rule to not being pulled down by others negative charged though's.
1) Try not to let anyone with negative being around you for any amount of time.
2) Try not to be negative yourself, keep it alway positive.
3) Try not to use word with negative charge like (can't, won't, couldn't,)
4) Be the best you can be, be the positive over all the negative.
5) Have the glass half full, be the person who says We can do this!
I'm not saying this will work, it could if we all try it! (Positive!)

Not Sure!

First where do I start, what happened in Arizona over the weekend is bad very bad. My heart goes out to the victims. My thoughts are with the victim, friends and family of this shooting. This is were all of this energy should be focused as of now.
What is happening now in the U.S. is awful. What people are writing about in blogs, and comment's made on news web sites are pathetic. It makes me sick how people over think thing in this new day and age. How people are and all things are politically motivated. I thing most of this is untrue, the young man who was the shooter was a very sick young man. I would even say he didn't even vote in the last election, or even any election. (just my guess) I would put him in more of someone who shoots up there place of employment after being let go. Maybe a high school kid who for what every reason shoots up his high school. To think he read writing from the left or the right is so very wrong. I think that should be put on the very back burner please.
I'm not sure were this whole blame game started it needs to stop, and stop right now!

Hell yes, its the weekend!

A big bad welcome to the first weekend of the New Year, and I'm not going to do a damn thing this weekend. You heard me no little projects around the house, nope!
No honey do list, nope!
I'm a doing shit!
This morning read my news paper, even the o'bits just to make sure I'm not dead. hahahahaha! Even about the Bears and how they are going all the way to the Super Bowl. I'm going to keep that to my self (Packer Fan!) 
As I move thru my day, I've read some of my book I've been reading slowly. Wanted to read it over the passed vacation, did do it. Had some time the holidays just kinda kill that, a lot of stuff needs to be done around that time of the year.
Sorry I move on.
I think maybe watch a movie a little bit later, not sure what. It something to look into. Also up dating this blog too!  
Twitter is very busy today a lot of people have a lot to say today. 


Well and it doesn't do any good cause its very cold out today, sunny and cold 13 at 11:00. The sky is so blue it hurt your eyes to look at it. With the light snow we got over night, its very pretty. Unless you go out without your coat. Then its cold!


This brings me too the Chicago Blackhawks, I'm a big fan of the Hawks and have watched all of the game at they have put on T.V. after  Bill Wirtz  died. His son Rocky  put the home game on T.V. right away after his dad died.  I enjoy NHL hockey its a great game, fast and hard hitting too plus the old  Chicago Stadium wow what place. I remember going there as a kid and watching the Blackhawks, it was just a special place for me growing up. The Blackhawks were big as a kid in Chicago, not the Cubs (sorry Trish*), White Sox's or even the Bears.
Back then it was the Hawks, I like it now my son who is 24 years old and all his friends go to the game plus go to each others home to watch the games. it make me happy to see this all happening again.


See I've run off typing and I think I'll get back to my book, or even take a nap! Hope your weekend is going go, cause mine is Great!

Wow! 99hits on this blog man oh man.....
I should calm down because maybe its just people kicking thru looking at blogs. Than they hit mine and go "What the Fuck is this?" So I'll keep that to myself, moving on along.
I got some guff from co-workers about my twitter yesterday about ex-gov. Ryan and his dying wife, well C'mon what's the old saying "Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time!" I'll leave it at that.
Next point in case;
Another guff point the radio homeless DJ. Does this smell a little or is it just me. Ted Williams the homeless DJ. It sounds like a Saturday Night Live bit. I'll talk for food. We've all seen the YouTube by now. He all over the place, I'm just not sure about this whole thing. Maybe I'm wrong and in some ways I hope I am. Hey how about I'll blog for food! yep.....more guff!

When I started this I wasn't going to bitch about the government or politics, well not sure I can stay a way from this, god knows I've tried. Not so much as politics, the media play job, that is going down. Last night on ABC's World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer she some of the Tea Party folks on. (Let say this first: I'm not totally on board with these people. I do like some of the thing they stand for.)


 Mostly spending issues and the Obama Care also. The Truth About ObamaCare

I'm not here to even bitch about that, its what World News Tonight did by putting these folk on T.V. and then trying to set them up. Asking them if you against Obama Care then why did you sign up for the government Healthcare for Congress, and other type set up questions. 

Let us just wait and see what happens here, and don't let the media do their spin jobs on this.

I told myself with the start of the new year, that I would update this blog every day. Well guess what I've already fell thru with that one ha!
Only four days into 2011 and I have failed,
                                  oh well its no big deal.
Its something I'll work on in the new year.
I'm good with this too,
                                 the old me would have never stood for this. I would have beat myself up for this for days. I'm good though and not just saying that to make myself feel not so good about not for filling a small goal as this one. So as I move thru this year I'll be around for the most part.
Maybe working on issues that will run my life!

Now 2011, were has the time gone?
I'm not like a lot of people who seem to wish there time away, I don't get to work to just say "Is it time to go home yet!" Even in times were I hate what is going on, I don't like wishing my time away. I could miss something great time in my life. Though's times can come at any time, something great could pop up! Maybe meeting a new person who could change your life, to the good or even bad.
I would like to know why people feel the need to do that, I mean I know sometime thing we do on a day to day can become some of the worst times in our day. I don't care for parts of the day myself sometimes. I will never ever wish it away, I could miss something and that could be the one thing to change everything in my life. Ether good,bad or indifferent.
That time is mine, and mine alone.
2010 just flew by,
        with all of the above said. I'm another year older today, one day closer too the end of my life. I don't say that to sound like I'm looking forward to my death, I say because its true! More like the old saying "Another day above ground, is a good day!" If you look at that it makes some sense, and this the way I live my life. Not wishing it away.
2011 I'm going to make the most out of every single day,
       I will not get pulled down by people. People who have an undertow, I've started this already. I've shelved a few people in 2010 for that reason. I couldn't take their negativity. So I've walked away from them and I'm not looking back. They're a few more thinks in my life I need to fix. And that's some of my goals for the new year.
So here is too a better new year 2011!
